ode to divorce by randomaxes ode to divorce by randomaxes
wow! holy crap...DD!

thank you my  Ali  `StJoan and ^Tiganusi
you guys are awesome

there are like a BAzillion homeless/beggar/indigent types on the streets of san francisco. i don't usually like to shoot them for personal reasons. and yes, i have a couple in my gallery, but i don't really focus on them, nor do i try to make it an issue. however, to be honest, there are so many that people have a general apathy towards all of them, that being; you can't help them all, so why help any.

so, at first i walked past this guy lol-ing.
then i realized, i had my camera in my hand and was like wtf? this guy just caught my attention in an obviously comical sense, and entertained me. although i would say that he's probably one of the lesser-in-need on the streets, i thought what-the-hell. i go back to him and ask if he'll pose for me and i offered him $3 for one photo. he said to me; "bro, i've been standing here for hours and got nuthin but a buck, i'll do whatever you want".

hehe...this is what i got for my $3.

so, now he can get his wife back AND have 2 to spare.

ode to divorce by `randomaxes only worries me in all the right ways. It's a brilliant example of the capture of a candid moment, and of an innovative tactic in panhandling. ( Suggested by StJoan and Featured by tiganusi )

I love some of the signs I've seen on the streets here in Portland. I feel bad for laughing sometimes, but I try and give a nickel here, a quarter there. This is an awesome pic. Very thought/emotion provoking.

Funny! I met a guy who was traveling from city to city via railroad and making money standing on a corner playing music. The sign he had was 'Will work for $25K plus benefits'.
